Dr. Sreedevi NV, author of “Madanika, The Eternal Soul,” was born on November 10, 1991, in Kumaranalloor, Kottayam. Her upbringing amidst the serene surroundings of Kumaranalloor Devi temple, surrounded by family and grandparents, instilled in her a deep interest in spirituality, philosophy, and Indian culture from a young age.

A talented writer since her school days, Dr. Sreedevi excelled in literary contests, including Sanskrit, and later graduated with a BAMS degree from Coimbatore Ayurveda College. After completing her internship, she began practicing Ayurveda while balancing motherhood.

In 2019, Dr. Sreedevi penned “Madanika” as an entry for the PM Yuva scheme contest, sponsored by the Indian government. She later penned another short story depicting Akira for the Commonwealth Short Story Prize which has been added to this book.

Through life’s challenges, writing remained Dr. Sreedevi’s steadfast passion. She maintains two blogs, one in English and one in Malayalam, and continues to pursue content writing. Dedicated to making a meaningful impact, Dr. Sreedevi balances her roles as an Ayurveda physician, writer, and mother.
